The Met Museum teen Internship

The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Teen Internship Program offers high school students a unique opportunity to gain professional experience while exploring the museum world. This program allows teens to work behind the scenes at the Met, where they can engage with museum staff, assist with various projects, and learn about different career paths in the arts. Interns participate in hands-on workshops, attend special events, and build skills in areas such as art history, education, and museum administration. The program aims to cultivate creativity, leadership, and a deeper appreciation for the arts among young people, while also fostering personal and professional growth.
